I am a Robotics Engineer and a recent Master of Science graduate from Carnegie Mellon University, currently working as a Robotics Deployment Engineer at Path Robotics. With a strong foundation in both theoretical principles and practical applications, I am well-equipped to tackle complex challenges in robotics, software engineering, and systems integration.During my time at Carnegie Mellon, I worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the AirLab, where I developed and validated time-optimal paths for fixed-wing UAVs in uniform wind conditions, achieving over 37% speed improvement and a 10x increase in path-solving speed, making it the current state of the art. Additionally, I explored the field of electronic waste recycling at the Biorobotics Lab, creating software for an autonomous disassembly station that improved fastener removal accuracy to 95% for a project sponsored by Apple.I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanics with a focus on Mechatronics and Design. During this time, I gained valuable experience evaluating the impact of hydrodynamic and aerodynamic conditions on the stability of floating platforms for offshore wind turbines and defining a control co-design strategy for a National Renewable Energy Lab project.Originally from Singapore, I now reside in Columbus, Ohio. Outside of work and academics, I enjoy exploring the world through travel and capturing moments with my camera.
