Infinity Visions Visual Show Director line of products are the world’s premier Fireworks Show Design tools. Developed over a period ranging from 1998 to the present and spanning language and technologies from Access to Visual Basic 6.0 to .NET 3.5. The suite of code and tools presented the typical array of needs that legacy systems often exhibit. I was brought in under an hourly contract to repair existing issues and expand the capabilities of the existing products. During my time I corrected all reported issues, expanded existing functionality, converted security from hardware dongle to softkey registration and online validation and developed a new .NET based prototype for tablet based control of pyrotechnical hardware. The prototype was presented at several international shows to demonstrate its potential uses.This job is via a Sagaxium contract.

Tideworks deploys custom logistics and operational planning software to vessel and rail container terminals throughout the World. My work includes server/client architecture, multi-threaded design and extensive design of enterprise level communications in XML, X12 and other legacy systems. I’ve been developing in C#, C++, MFC and DCOM as well as unit test frameworks and supporting applications. I have seen several projects through from customer requirements, design, deployment and support. My contributions have been in both software development as well in lead and supervisory roles and required collaboration with customers and internal/external support. I am well versed in Agile and Scrum methodologies and led a team of 10 developers locally and offshore.

Livingsoft is the leading provider of electronic pattern drafting software for home use. I am part of a two person team that developed the Dress Shop line of products. Dress Shop takes more than 60 body measurements, 30 individual pattern adjustments and hundreds of pattern options, then drafts custom fitted sewing patterns on the user’s home printer. For my design work in body type extrapolation I hold 2 patents. I developed core routines, graphics and pattern drafting elements in our C++/COM library as well as developing much of the HTML/Javascript user interface. This product line was dynamic and quick to respond to customer needs. Programming was in C++, COM, HTML and Javascript.
