When that content is ready for viewing in its various stages, from first edits to final cuts, the Exhibition Technology Coordinator ensures the content viewing experience goes smoothly for the client, and as the creatives intended. The role consists of 30% Projection Engineer duties, and 70% Production Coordinator responsibilities, such as: • Highly personalized concierge level screening support services. DCP handoffs, re-encoding files, AVID Machine ingest and operation, projector calibration, server certs. • First point of contact for all Netflix employees (worldwide) and partners seeking screening rooms or theaters in Los Angeles. • Booking, coordinating and staffing 3 DCP Theater spaces, seven tier-2 Critical Review screening lounges, and one Audio Lab. • Manage the schedule of Projection personnel as well as requests for coverage via vendor partners • Set up, schedule and coordinate meetings and ongoing screenings for internal and partner produced productions. • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Netflix App ecosystem, embrace new technologies as they are adopted by teams and pods. • Track and report on screening room metrics. • Research, curate and develop relationships with 3rd Party vendors, approve labor estimates, pay invoices .• Ingest, set up locked cuts with stereo and 5.1 audio and run Audio Lab screening sessions via Protools with Show runners, Creatives, Execs for final reviews of each episode, giving notes when appropriate.
