1. Standardization/Literature research – studied standards (3GPP, IETF, ITU-T) related to IMS development. Co-Authored few major documents namely - "Software requirement specification (SRS) of P-CSCF"​, "Call flow document for IMS"​, "System Architecture of P-CSCF – process view, redundancy issues, deployment scenario included"​, "Interface document (reference point in IMS terminology) for inter-working with different nodes – charging data function (Rf) and policy and charging rule function (Rx)".2. Technical evaluation of different vendors’ SIP and Diameter Stacks.3. Design Phase – included software design of P-CSCF using Star UML tool. High Level Design, Use Case diagram, Activity diagram, Finite State Machine, Detailed Level design.4. Development Phase – Responsible for Coding of Call Control Module (CCM) of P-CSCF (handling of INVITE and other SIP Requests that create Dialog).Mostly in C++ on Solaris.5. State Machine Implementation.6. Multi-Threaded Design for Call Control.7. Designed class diagrams using UML and implemented redundancy serialization using OpenSAF middleware and Google Protocol Buffers
