Overall responsible for engineering function for production department in the factory.1. Delivery of Business objectives: Deliver expert and senior support to Production Operations. Ensuring health and safety, product safety and environment are never compromised, and enhancing business objectives and Operations performance. 2.People Development: Maintain and develop the corresponding Engineering core Competencies of technical operations personnel including mentoring, training, coaching and skills assessments.3. Asset Maintenance & Improvement: Enable high performance Operations, providing assets' Maintenance according to the business Strategy (using Total Performance Management methodology as the multi-disciplined approach to maintain/improve fixed assets, and AMM to manage their life cycle). Support and contribute to have a proper technical store management.4. Define, propose and monitor the Maintenance and Improvement (M&I) plans and objectives in accordance with the Engineering Policy, Key Principles and the M&I Activity. Propose and implement work processes, procedures and technical resources related to the M&I team. Lead and coordinate the M&I team and maintain competencies, motivation and performance to achieve the M&I teams mission and objectives. Ensure that the technical integrity and availability of equipment complies with all regulations. Ensure Good Engineering Practices are being applied at all times. Obtain managements support for M&I and ensure its alignment with the business strategy. Ensure that Continuous Improvement becomes a key pillar of the M&I culture. Establish and manage the yearly, monthly, weekly maintenance plans to ensure essential maintenance is completed within a reasonable time. Ensure that the job planning, material and services planning is accurate and effective.

 Plan, schedule and execute technical and management aspects of packaging equipment engineering projects and activities.  Leads and serves on cross-functional teams that address specific operational problems and enables existing packaging processes and equipment to become more efficient.  Develops engineering proposals based on customer requirements and relevant technology. Also prepares capital appropriation requests.  Troubleshoots problems associated with packaging equipment and systems, including material related issues. Determines possible solutions to problems based on facts gathered and gains consensus on required remediation.  Create, update, and maintain packaging equipment, system and layout drawings.  Develops, reviews, revises, or approves Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) as required.  Participates in company Operational Excellence initiatives.  Performs packaging equipment testing and qualification as required.
