Being a public / civil servant in Sindh Information Department since January 2009, which is the custodian of Sindh Government's Public Relations and Publicity, I have experience of more than twelve years in strategic communication, public relations, publicity & advertising, media / public information, outreach services & social mobilization, media management & coordination, social media campaigning, branding & marking conceptualizing of design and layout of promotional material, preparing of press releases, handouts, report writing, editing, media consultancy, training & research, translations, career counseling, mentoring. At present, I am serving as Deputy Director in the same department. Before this I have worked as Communication Specialist USAID and World Bank funded projects implemented by the Government and Academia / University. Academically, I have M.Phil. in media and being a computer science graduate, I am also using acquired computer skills in the above areas of experience to accomplish the task more efficiently and effectively.Socially, I am a Rotarian, IVLP Alumni, PUAN Fellow, LEAD Pakistan Associate Fellow also voluntarily engaged in different socio-cultural, literary and media literacy activities. Also voluntarily associated with various organizations for media and publicity advisory and consultative role.
