My name is Sahil Batra I moved to New Zealand to pursue higher studies from PIHMS, currently working with ED Street as Bar Manager. I worked with many hotel chains background which has helped me to learn a very attractive set of skills like upselling, how to interact nicely with the guests to build good clientage, and understating what the customer needs and what they expect from us. Talking about myself I am a hardworking, reliable, and creative person. Punctuality is my main priority. I believe time management is a very important skill in a professional environment. I can be innovative in difficult situations. Moreover, I carry a positive attitude with a smile on my face. I have completed my Level 7 Diploma at Pacific International Hotel Management School in Taranaki. I believe Hospitality being such a versatile field enables me to be a skilled asset in more than just one department. Being a quick learner and a curious beginner, I aim to deliver a high-quality and wholesome customer experience. In addition to this, I also have LCQ which allows me to serve alcohol on licensed premises.I began my career in hospitality by working for JPS Grand Hotel by ITC Group. In New Plymouth, I start to work with The Devon Hotel where I used to work as a Food & Beverage Associate. Followed by this, I started working as a food and beverage supervisor at Lone Star Cafe and Bar in New Plymouth. After that, I start to work at the sports bar, where I earned my gaming license to get new experience in Gaming machines and TAB. Then I got the opportunity to work as a Duty Manager at Liquorland New Plymouth, where i got a chance to explore all kinds of spirits and wines to enhance my knowledge and skills.
