● Research, plan, and designs of sheet metal products and machines which are used in ricemilling plants.● Directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application andinstallation of machines.● Analyzing data, customer design proposal, specification and manuals to define feasibilityof design and application.● Design and manufacturing of machinery required for rice milling plants like (husker,boilers, rice cleaner, cyclone blower, paddy cleaner, paddy dryers, rice whiteners andmany more).● Plan and direct engineer personnel in fabrication of sheet metal products.● Design products on software’s Solidworks 3D, autocad 2D, fast-cam(plasma cutting) for nesting and preparing plans for cutting of MS- sheets.

Gear and Transmission system manufacturing. ● Assist in the design and testing of gears and transmission systems for various applications, including automotive, industrial machinery, and aerospace.● Support engineers in analyzing gear specifications, selecting materials, and developing detailed CAD models and blueprints.● Participate in the manufacturing process, including CNC machining, gear cutting, heat treatment, and assembly operations.● Perform measurements and tests on finished gears and transmission systems to ensure adherence to quality standards.● Help in troubleshooting and resolving issues in the production process, ensuring efficiency and minimizing downtime.● Work alongside the quality assurance team to conduct inspections, measurements, and assessments of gears using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gear analyzers.● Support R&D teams in analyzing performance data and making design improvements to enhance gear efficiency, durability, and noise reduction.● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and maintenance, to enhance overall manufacturing processes.

During this internship, I have gain exposure to different aspects of the manufacturing process, from raw material selection to the final inspection and packaging of products. I often work alongside engineers, technicians, and production managers to understand the intricate details of tool development, including design considerations, material strength, and ergonomic features.I participated in following's● Production Processes: Observing and assisting in the assembly line where tools like hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenches are manufactured. This includes learning about casting, forging, machining, and finishing techniques.● Quality Control: Understanding the standards and procedures used to ensure the final products meet safety and performance specifications. I was also involved in testing the tools for durability, precision, and reliability.● Design and Prototyping: Collaborating with the design team to develop new tool concepts or improvements to existing designs. I did CAD modeling, prototyping, and testing.● Supply Chain and Inventory Management: I gain insight into how raw materials are sourced, managed, and processed efficiently within the supply chain. I also learn about inventory control, ensuring that production runs smoothly without shortages or overstock.● Safety and Sustainability Practices: Understanding the importance of workplace safety in manufacturing environments and the efforts taken to minimize environmental impact through sustainable practices.
