Saida has facilitated trainings, lectures and workshops for more than a thousand professionals on the needs and resiliencies of LGBTQ youth. These trainings include a webinar on working with LGBTQ youth in care, which is now mandated professional development for all Department of Human Resource employees statewide. The coordinator of the Youth Equality Alliance (YEA), a statewide policy coalition advocating for the well-being of LGBTQ youth, Saida supports the coalition in its work to build safe spaces for young people in foster care, education, and juvenile justice. Most notably, Saida coordinated the first ever legislative hearing on the needs of LGBTQ Youth in Maryland, also testifying as a subject matter expert on LGBTQ children in foster care. Recent work includes conceptualizing and launching a Youth Advisory Board to inform the work of the Youth Equality Alliance, coordinating a coalition of Black LGBTQ stakeholders to host a series of panels on the experiences of the Black LGBTQ community in Baltimore, and hosting an LGBTQ Mental Health Providers coalition to provide insight on best practices for working with LGBTQ youth in Maryland.

Managed youth shelter for residents ages 12-21. Developed file documents, audited charts, supervised clinical team, and provided family and individual counseling. Supervised team of 13 case managers and residential counselors . Organized programming, and fostered partnerships with community resources.

Responsible for directing the EPA's Student Diversity Internship Program (SDIP), a national internship program providing career development opportunities to students of color from Minority Academic Institutions. Responsibilities included management of 5 year multi-million dollar contract with the Environmental Protection Agency. Oversaw recruitment, program development, implementation and evaluation.

Co-developed and facilitated several groups for LGBT youth around poetry, sexual health, trauma and oppression.

Supervised resource coordinators providing intensive case management to homeless families in several shelters across Philadelphia. Achievements included: (1.) development of Case Manager Orientation Resource Manual and formalization of training procedures, (2.) Investigated inconsistencies in billing; developed and disseminated report on findings, (3.) Implemented new information structures to streamline communication and create greater accountability

Supervised a multigenerational staff of thirteen to run The City School's flagship Summer Leadership Program (SLP), a a community building program for 60 youth. Significant achievements included the launch of a community organizing component, expansion of and fostered partnerships with local social service agencies and families. Saida also developed and implemented training curriculum. Developed and launched new teacher training program in partnership with Boston Public Schools, raised $70,000 in start up funds, built valuable networking relationships with local principals, education advocacy organizations and colleges, conducted workshops and presentations for SJEI at regional conferences; developed program curriculum. Created and conducted eight week Community Violence and Healing curriculum for ten youth
