You can hear talk about my work here: https://www.publichealthcareers.org/hear-from-public-health-professionals.htmlAs the Public Health Epidemiologist for Mercer County I wear many hats supporting local public health efforts including communicable disease investigation and surveillance, vaccine clinic planning and implementation, overdose response and data management, as well as program evaluation and support for various initiatives.As a Field Representative for the Monmouth County Health Department, I performed investigations to prevent the spread of communicable diseases, and help those affected find treatment. This involved coordination with other organizations in the County, surveillance of disease reporting systems, and providing compassion and support to those suffering from infectious diseases.Before joining Monmouth County, I worked as a Case Investigator/Contact Tracer through the Rutgers School of Public Health, helping my local community in their efforts to curtail the spread of COVID-19.I previously worked as a Graduate Assistant for the Region 2 Public Health Training Center where I engage in client correspondence, data organization, and webinar support. I also interned with the Trenton Health Team, supporting their efforts to reduce childhood obesity and youth tobacco use. I graduated from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health with a Master's in Public Health and a certification in Health Promotion, Theory, Research, and Practice. I subsequently received my Certification as a Health Education Specialist. I also graduated from the College of New Jersey with a bachelor's of science in Public Health and Exercise Science in 2018 and became a Certified Exercise Physiologist.
