Spearheaded new ventures including Shwapno’s ecommerce and private label businesses, while also overseeing auxiliary functions such as inventory management to minimize expenses and non-inventory procurement to support expansion. • Led commodities division with 1080MN+ annual business. Generated 45% top line and 60% bottom line growth in 2012. Increased gross margin by more than 3% at category level • General merchandise gross profit value grew by 38% and gross margin % by 4% at category level• 400 + SKU launched under Shwapno private label across 40 product types• Additional margin from private label business improved company level gross margin% by 0.20%• Shwapno private label Soybean oil secured around 20% of relevant category share in 1 year time• Oversaw and strengthened the entire supply chain of Shwapno to ensure sustainable monthly business with more than 10,000 active SKU in 2011 – 2015 period • Achieved annual savings of around BDT 20MN through source diversification, negotiation, advance purchase, bulk deal, credit term renegotiation and fund management during the same period• Complete negotiation for engagement of 2 international partners, from USA and India for successful implementation and adoption of BI SAS and ecommerce platform in Shwapno• Reduced the AMC with American software company - resulted in saving of USD 38,000 per year• Reduction in stock loss from 4.9% to 0.40% as % of sales in 6 years’ time
