Since last 15 years working in Tekla Structures, I did many type of on shore structures for oil & Gas field like Pipe Racks, Bridges,Circular Platforms, Stair cases & Handrails etc… also off shore structures like Top sides, Jackets,Stinger. I handled independently the complete Detailing part like creating 3D Models for many kind of steel structures and Extraction of General Arrangement drawings, preparation of Fabrication & Erection Drawings, Preparation of Templates & Creation of Reports as per Shop and site requirements. Now I am more concentated in Rhino/Grasshopper modelling to Tekla. The Grasshopper-Tekla live link enables algorithmic modelling for Tekla Structures using Rhino/Grasshopper. The link is a set of Grasshopper components that can create and interact with objects live in Tekla Structures.

Tekla Modeller; Steel Detailer.Duties & ResponsibilitiesStudying of client architectural, civil and structural drawings for the preliminary material take off and cutting plans.Studies project specification and scope of works.Preparation of connection details as required by client.Preparation of general arrangement drawings with respect to the client requirement for getting approval from client.Preparation of shop fabrication drawings with respect to AISC, ASTM standards.Preparation of cutting plans for plates by keeping minimum material wastage.Preparation of Fasteners list, Bill of materials, Bolt location list & Erection sequences.Ensure the easy erection of the structural members, co-ordinate with shop foremen for solving problems encountered during fabrication.Keep track of all changes done during fabrication and erection, which need to be incorporated into as built drawings.Duties; ResponsibilitiesStudying of client architectural, civil and structural drawings .Collecting required datas from contact drawings.
