• To prepare HSE procedure in any projects, monitoring & advice to meet & accomplish safety requirements & able to evaluate & analyses hazards & adopt preventive measures with knowledge of hazards, safety assessment.
• Investigate all incidents and accidents and submit reports complete with remedial actions to safety team of Head office through responsible manager for corrective action.
• Assist the site manager in the management & execution of safety program. Conduct regular site safety inspections & prepare reports for site manager for corrective actions. Check & advice on each work plan or procedures.
• Initiate & participate in Tool Box Talk (TBT). Make & submit weekly & monthly reports to the Head office & keep a copy at site for any audits & reference in the future.
• Conduct in-house safety orientation for new workers who report on their first day for work to project site & to return them to their respective sections supervisor for work commencement only after they have attended &.

Iran

• Do risk assessments on all aspects of work.
• Actively participate in all incident investigations.
• Ensure all personnel are educated in the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Ensure only proper lifting tools is used & used in the correct manner.
• Distribute basic safety information in the form of bulletins, manuals and posters to transmit safety know-how to supervisors and employees at base location.
• Administer the HSE Incentive Program for area of responsibility.

Wadi

• Issue & immediate verbal/ written “STOP WORK ORDER” for any work activity that is potentially hazardous or life threatening & non-conforming to safety requirement. “THE STOP WORK ORDER” maybe withdrawn only when proper.

India

• To Prepare/update leading edge on safety policies & procedures. To organize HSE training program for workmen. To promote safe working culture & practice in both offshore and onshore facilities. To ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with client safety section on matters regarding safety. Provide advice, guidance and such as may be needed in accident prevention. Coordinate with Government Authorities, especially Ministry of Environment.
• Perform various safety/operations/maintenance duties on drilling & work over rigs including safety training, operation assistance & technical support on maintenance programs.
• Ensure contractors meet all requirement of contract from safety standpoint, correct any unsafe practices & making sure all rig personnel comply with company established safety standards & procedures.
• Co-ordinate safety courses for employees between superintendents of drilling & work over training unit. Work closely with company Loss Prevention Department in developing programs & achieving safety goals & objectives.
• Resolve operational & maintenance issues with company rig maintenance Unit.
