As a Training Instructor (OJTI) and Examiner in Tower and Radar, am responsible to conduct validation, tape review, oral Exam, written exam, and CoC for ATCAs both in Tower & Radar.Duties and Responsibilities as a RADAR ATCACoordinating flight estimates within the Abu Dhabi control zone area.Amends flight plans sent by the AIS briefing office through the AFTN and ensure the correctness of the flight path of the aircraft.Coordinate with civilian and military stations with reference to the aircraft approaching their vicinity. Give assistance to Air Traffic Control Officers with their needs to ensure the safety and smooth handling of aircraft movements.Keeps up-to-date knowledge of new rules, policies, and procedures governing the UAE and Abu Dhabi airspace.Update the Aeronautical Terminal Information Service (Arrival and Departure-ATIS) with current airfield QNH, wind shear, direction, weather trend, and runway usage.Duties and Responsibilities as a TOWER ATCAMonitor the ground frequency and coordinate appropriately between the ATC tower and other ground stations to ensure a seamless flow of traffic.Coordinate start-up details of aircraft departing from Abu Dhabi International Airport, with other air traffic control stations around the Abu Dhabi control zone. Issues clearance delivery to aircraft through Eurocat-X DCL.
