As the Creative Director for the News Experience team, I lead and inspire a talented group of visual storytellers to bring editorial content to life. My role involves overseeing the creative development of visual assets and fostering close collaboration with McClatchy's 30 newsrooms, including The Miami Herald, The Kansas City Star, and The Sacramento Bee. to ensure seamless integration between content and visuals. I guide the artistic vision, ensuring that every visual element—static graphics to complex 3D animations—elevates and enhances the narrative.I take a hands-on approach, contributing to the creative process with assets such as page development, branding, data visualization, illustrations, 2D and 3D animations, video content, and dynamic visuals for social media promotion.

Spearheaded video branding strategies with a focus on brand identity, motion graphic productions, and documentary collaborations for over 30 newspapers, including The Miami Herald, The Kansas City Star, and The Sacramento Bee. Led diverse teams of video journalists, photographers, illustrators, and motion graphics artists, driving innovative visual storytelling and elevating brand presence across multimedia platforms.

I established the brand identity for The Washington Post's video content, creating a cohesive visual language that elevated the publication's digital storytelling. In addition, I produced in-house motion graphics for a range of projects, including internal programming, documentaries, infographics, and web interactives, ensuring impactful and engaging visuals that resonated across multiple platforms.

I produced on-air media content for high-profile programs such as Nightly News, The Today Show, and Meet The Press, contributing to the visual storytelling that engages national audiences. Additionally, I designed and constructed the opening title sequence for Meet The Press, setting the tone for one of the most respected news programs in the industry.

I served as a contributing artist for a variety of on-air television shows, creating compelling spots, promos, and opening sequences. Notably, I provided creative contributions for The Situation Room, helping to shape the visual identity of the program and enhance its broadcast presence.

I created on-air television graphics for major programs such as World News, Good Morning America, and This Week, delivering visually engaging content that enhanced the storytelling and presentation for these widely viewed broadcasts.
