I am a librarian with nine years experience, primarily in cataloging, and more recently in collection development and reference services. Because of my passion for the arts and extensive music background, I have worked principally with materials pertaining to the subjects of art, dance, theater, and music.In my current position as Media Librarian at The Juilliard School, my duties include collection development, acquisition, and cataloging of media materials. I also provide reference services for students and faculty to support research and facilitate use of library materials.My years of experience as a cataloger has helped me develop an acute attention to detail, serving me well in my current position. I'm highly organized which allows me to successfully prioritize my work load, formulate workflow, and maximize productivity. Cataloging can be solitary work, so I enjoy the opportunity to work with the Juilliard community and collaborate with other librarians to solve problems and develop new ideas. I am a quick and enthusiastic learner and look forward to taking on new projects.I have an MA in Information Resources and Library Science from the University of Arizona, an MM in Music Performance from the University of Akron, and BAs in Music and Pyschology from Montana State University-Billings.I’m always interested in hearing from former colleagues, managers, and friends, so please contact me if you’d like to connect.
