Designed improved customer loyalty outreach program by analyzing Square’s Customers API in built-in CRM environment, resulting in increased repeat business

I was recommended by professors to tutor in Single Variable Calculus and Introduction to Data Analytics. I meet weekly with 4 students to go over problems/code, make study guides, and establish productive studying habits. I am very passionate about promoting women in STEM, so I value this opportunity to engage with underclassmen women and encourage them through the beginning stages of a future in STEM or analytics.

I was selected to conduct research on the opioid epidemic in Ohio. Over the course of 10 weeks, I collaborated with students of varied academic backgrounds to collect data and engaged in weekly meetings with professors of Mathematics, Data Analytics, and Journalism to update progress and new findings. My research culminated in a paper and poster that I presented to faculty, staff, and fellow students at a research symposium.

As a Peer Coach, I fill many different shoes to support students' engagement with the Knowlton Center. I critique resumes and cover letters, as well as answer preliminary questions about graduate school, job and internship searching, and interviewing. In addition, I work on specialized projects that utilize my data skills to support Knowlton Center staff in designing the most effective programming for Denison students.

As an office assistant, I welcomed students coming in to the career center with the goal of making the process of career exploration as approachable as possible. In addition to welcoming students, alumni, prospective students, and staff, I utilized extensive knowledge about the career center’s resources in order to adequately address students’ questions and concerns about engaging with the Knowlton Center.

I worked daily in a team-driven environment to organize fun activities and ensure the safety of 90 children ages 5 – 12. I also supervised groups of 10 children on weekly field trips around Southern California. Throughout the summer, I collaborated with counselors and camp director to organize Parent Night and other camp-wide events.
