Project Lead for an Innovate UK Energy Catalyst project in partnership with University of Oxford, Save the Children International and EireComposites.

Promoted the University of Manchester's academic exchange programme, by speaking at events, meeting with interested students and contributing articles to the 'Manchester on the Road' blog.

In this role, I had to interact with prospective physics students during their UCAS interview day at the University of Manchester. This involved providing information about studying in Manchester, answering questions, and organising the students.

Lead weekly meetings with a group of first year students, to support them with their academic studies. Throughout the year I lead sessions on a range of different topics, including referencing, scientific writing, time management.

I was completing research in the area of insulator spintronics in the Kläui research group at Johannes Gutenberg University. This involved the growth and characterization of magnetic thin films, as well as analysis of my experimental results.
