OxReGen

OxReGen is working to provide robust and reliable renewable energy at low cost. The key innovation behind our work is a patented 10kW wind turbine technology, optimised for off-grid electricity generation in remote locations. Our focus is to provide simple solutions designed to be built with locally sourced off-the-shelf components. In 2022, OxReGen was awarded Innovate UK funding to trial the technology at a health facility in Somalia. This project will be delivered in partnership with Save the Children International, ÉireComposites and the University of Oxford.
