Despite these challenges, we have dramatically improved our service, reducing open tickets from over 400 to 59, while handling 25% more new tickets than before, achieving an average first response time of 17.9 minutes. Process Optimization and Service Improvement – Developed a business proposal and plan to establish a unified service desk creating the Central Services group, creating a single point of contact for staff queries, enhancing service delivery and user satisfaction. This initiative also created flexibility at our division office level, allowing cross-departmental collaboration on projects not possible before the formation of this group. The departments involved are no longer siloed.

Edsembli is the Student Information System vendor for Foothills School Division. Worked remotely while on a sabbatical from Foothills School Division in Bermuda for a year. Created business requirements documents for the digital documents project, mandated by Alberta Education.

I supported schools regarding the student information system, LMS, the HR system, and the finance system. Responsible for student data integrity for over 8200 students and for provincial and federal ministry reporting. All divisional funding relied upon the accuracy of this data. I took ownership and responsibility for developing business processes, policies, standards and deliveries to all areas of the business. Many of these projects saved the division tens of thousands of dollars a year as we were able to decommission at least two pieces of software, resulting in reduction of licensing costs and time savings at the school level.
