I was recently working as a researcher in human centered design, and am seeking a research-centric opportunity with real human impact. I have experience conducting both in-person and remote quantitative research as well as quantitative survey design and analysis. My previous projects have covered technology, retail, CPGs, and financial products and involved working with both big-name, influential brands down to the most at-risk users they serve. I have the high energy, strong research skills, and independent but collaborative working style. I am passionate about using integrated methodologies to effectively answer important questions. I am open to opportunities that will rely on my social consciousness in diverse fields, across the public and private sectors. In June of 2019, I began contracting as a freelance researcher at Insitum, and was hired full time after 3 short weeks to finish out the 19-week dual-phase research project on individual access to civic services. After 6 weeks, Insitum was acquired by Fjord/Accenture. I demonstrated agility and flexibility in adjusting to various working environments in a short time, and was able to learn a lot about the field in only a year, thanks to the many teams I was able to work with across two companies. I completed a 1-year master's thesis program in social sciences (MAPSS) at the University of Chicago in June 2019. I focused in psychology, and worked in a language development lab, as well as taking interdisciplinary social sciences coursework. My thesis examined the relationship between parental speech input quality and child Higher Order Thinking. I graduated from Miami University in the College of Arts and Sciences May 2018. I double majored in French and Psychology with a minor in Art History. I have diverse experience as an undergraduate teaching assistant, a research assistant, and a research fellow during my time at Miami. I also have an intrinsic interest in helping people, and in college, I began volunteering at a local Crisis Hotline, and later completed my training to be a Qualified Mental Health Specialist. I spent Spring of 2016 studying abroad in Geneva, Switzerland to improve my French.
Listed skills include Writing, Research, Microsoft Office, French, and 13 others.
