Provided support for two projects focused on increased interagency coordination on smoke management: 1) I coordinated a research committee exploring the effects of a public health campaign for the West Bend Rx Pilot Project, and 2) I compiled a series of charts visualizing on-going, planned, and completed activities related to smoke management for each federal agency.

I provide leadership and programmatic direction and implementation for the Forest Program, with a special emphasis on public forest lands. I work directly with 20 forest restoration collaboratives across Oregon and Washington, and assist the Forest Service with articulating their vision for working collaboratively with external partners. I mentor staff, engage in strategic planning, write and manage grants, and manage budgets.

As RVCC Program associate I was responsible for bringing together community leaders across the west to identify barriers and strategize creative solutions to landscape and forest restoration and management. Responsibilities included coordinating peer-learning events; convening and facilitating working groups; supporting Coalition Leadership Team meetings; circulating marketing and outreach; supporting fundraising efforts; and managing grants.

I learned the underpinnings of a nonprofit organization by providing support with: grants management; programmatic workshops and meetings; Board meetings and donor engagement; and organizational communications and outreach.
