Primary responsibilities were to expand and grow the online MLB.com Auction business. I built the network from scratch and developed the largest auction network of the major sports leagues. I was involved in all tasks related to the administration of the MLB.com online auction site including managing Club and licensee relationships, developing vendor participation, third party training, inventory management, creating promotional emails, and coordinating marketing initiatives.

Grewthe business from inception to a network of 30 individual Major League auction sites connectedthrough the MLB.com umbrella site.• Managed all tasks related to the administration of the MLB.com online auction site from the back-end management tool to to the front end quality control.• Successfully maintained and developed the relationships between MLB,com and the 30 MajorLeague clubs, MLB Properties, as well as applicable baseball licensees on all matters related toclub auctions and league-wide programs.• Non-baseball auction sites managed in my capacity as the auction manager at MLB.com includedMLSnet.com and AVP.com.• Areas of specialization include, but are not limited to, auction contract language as it relates tocharity solicitation, as well as recognizing and leveraging value on commerce platforms.• High profile auctions include the annual Mother’s Day Pink Bat, All-Star and Post-Season game-used memorabilia auctions; the sale of the lineup card from the 2004 Boston Red Sox WorldSeries victory ($150K), World Baseball Classic Memorabilia auctions, Yankee Stadium Seat salesand more.• Oversaw and managed the auction vendor relationship from fee and contract negotiation to sitedesign and implementation.• Coordinated marketing for the auction platform through e-mail blasts, social media and clubwebsites, as well as developing strategies for search engine optimization.
