CurrentProvide leadership and be responsible for the management of the Youth ProjectWork with young people to produce individual support plans which identify and assess their needs and establish targetsCo-ordinate a timetable of events, session times to vary according to the needs of the young people.Lead in training programmes via discussions, arts-based activities, community and environmental projects, outdoor education and sport activities.Assist specialists with delivering relevant programmes in response to young people’s needs (e.g. risk awareness, sex and relationship education, employability skills, community volunteering).Liaise with appropriate agencies, developing a network of suitable contacts and making suitable links between young people and appropriate specialistsInteract on a professional level with colleagues and seek to establish and maintain productive relationships with the aim of improving the quality of delivery of workshops and raising the expectations of residents.Support young people in integrating with others upon arrival and maintaining contact with them as they move on in the community.Ensure sustainability of the Youth Project Create appropriate tools for monitoring and evaluation of the Youth Project and ensure team members monitor and evaluate accordinglyEnsuring that all staff maintain records and training informationEnsure the best use of the Youth Project’s resources and the proper maintenance of materials and equipmentDraw up and update annually a development plan which reflects the aims of the Youth ProjectCarry out Risk Assessment or updates for activities, trips and sessions and action any requirements deemed necessary to prevent riskReport any H&S hazards directly to the Facilities ManagerComplete Accident and Incident Reports and follow the procedure as laid out in the Employee’s Operational Guide and Policies and ProceduresTracking project outcomes information and reports
