Guidance Navigation And Control Engineer I
Develop algorithms for the guidance of the Dream Chaser spaceplane. This vehicle will deliver crucial cargo to the International Space Station and future destinations in Earth Orbit. Coordinate with other members of the Guidance, Navigation, and Control Team to design, test, and deliver algorithms to the Flight Software Team, which are necessary for control of the vehicle both on orbit and during entry, descent, and landing phases. Responsibilities include research and development of guidance algorithms, testing of algorithm behavior through custom simulations, and analysis of vehicle performance.
