I am a project leading qualified architect with over 13 years demonstrated history in Construction, architecture & planning industry. With experience managing small construction sites and leading an electrical installation company, my career was steered into design.I have the ability and skills to work through all RIBA stages and enjoying fleshing out design briefs, producing strong feasibility and conceptual designs, producing technical constructions information, managing projects on site all the way through to handing over competed buildings to clients I’ve built strong professional relationships with. All the time coordinating potentially large design teams inclusive of specialist consultants. My passion for design, mentoring and leading a team has lead me to introducing a mentoring team within my current practice overseeing many part I and II architectural assistants along with our apprentice studying at Cambridge. I am experienced in selecting and interviewing architectural assistants and technicians. As part of my role I enjoying leading the CPD delivery team helping all staff from assistants to partners staying upto date with changes in the industry focusing on the RIBA 10 core subjects. My main skill set is in design, management and project delivery using Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and many other 3D modelling and rendering programmes. As well as resourcing and financial tracking software. I have a strong arts and design professional background with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from University for the Creative Arts, Canterbury School of Architecture, where I continued through to MArch. Closely followed by completing my Part III PGDip in architecture at Greenwich University. Through my career I have lead and delivered on projects within the hospitality, commercial, residential and educational sectors up to circa £10m. I am a strong believer in nurturing and continuing professional relationships with universities and am regularly attending crit days to share the experience I’ve had to date and help encourage and guide architectural students.
