Manage a team of Engineers and Planners to develop sites across Ontario, from the Town of Gravenhurst to Welland. From due diligence to occupancy.Manage and lead planning and development approvals process, including public stakeholder meetings, minor variance, Heritage Permit, Official plan amendment, part lot control, plan of condominium, site plan, zoning by- law amendment and attend OLT hearings;Retain, manage and develop project consulting teams for Building Permit approvals, coordination of submission with architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical team;Manage and report to Senior Management on land due diligence process, assist in developing proforma and addressing risks;Prepare, review and track project schedule and budgets to ensure on time and on budget delivery; Liaise with owner’s, construction and marketing team to ensure project feasibility and milestones are being met; andConduct field visits, site inspections, resolve servicing concerns and specific site issues to ensure compliance with approved plans and agreements and regulatory requirements;

Responsible for completing due diligence process for acquisition of new land, review and complete proforma;Review zoning, adjacent development applications, assess risks and determine project feasibility; Manage consulting team, negotiate contracts, work with architects and building consultants to ensure successful project;Create and track budget schedule, process billing and payments to consultant and contractors;Review Site Plan Agreements, Subdivision Agreements and negotiate Section 37;Constantly prepare and manage for project and scope change and make informed decision to ensure project success.

Managed 36 professional engineering and technical staff, in the review of multi-billion dollar infrastructure and land development projects;Composed City engineering review comments, collected input from all operating divisions on municipal infrastructure design review and construction administration matters;Contributed to the preparation, review, approval and enforcement of legal and cost sharing agreements with respect to expansion and growth of the City’s infrastructure.Provided oversight and coordination of construction works to ensure that all works comply with City policies and design, construction and other standards.

Aligned unit's strategy with Engineering and Construction services strategy to optimize performance and streamline delivery.
