Military contractor assigned as primary instructor for Military Science Level I Cadets (Freshmen) tasked with providing realistic and relevant training and guidance for prospective U.S. Army officers. Worked as Operations and Training officer charged with planning near and long-term training in conjunction with other assigned staff and Military Science Level IV Cadets (Seniors). Coordinated with host universities to ensure information sharing and strengthening of partnerships with civilian educators. Worked as officer-in-charge of University of Massachusetts, Lowell, responsible for oversight and accountability of over 30 Cadets at all levels of development. Assigned as program Anti-Terrorism officer for an additional duty, responsible for developing Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection plans; in this role, ensured plans were in accordance with Federal guidance, and also coordinated with three different universities’ administrations to ensure plans were nested within the overall university plans. Took initiative and proactively organized additional, voluntary training for Cadets to include tactical exercises, physical fitness, and Army organizational skills to develop both the students and self.
