Sea Pines Community Services Associates, Inc. is responsible for security, public works, storm water, capital projects, property maintenance, transportation, parks, communications, finances and special events coordination in the Sea Pine community. Sea Pines is a 5,200 acre residential, commercial and resort community that includes 5,650 residential property owners, the Harbour Town Yacht Basin, South Beach Marina, dining and shopping areas, four golf courses and several miles of beach and waterfront. Sea Pines is a cornerstone of the State’s tourism industry and annually hosts the RBC Heritage Golf Tournament.

Responsible for overall leadership, Procurement, Contact Administration, Material Planning, Warehousing and Logistics, Facilities Management, Parks and Recreation, Investment Recovery and Recycling, and General Corporate Services business units. Ensure correct implementation of corporate polices, competitiveness in procurement processes, development of matrices for inventory levels, clean, comfortable, and safe environments, maximum return on investments for company assets, stewardship through environmental initiatives and community involvement, and exceptional customer service for internal and external customers.

Responsible for planning and implementing aggressive economic and business development program in the Company's service area while also supporting efforts across the state of South Carolina. Coordinates all economic development activities. Represent Santee Cooper with the highest levels of government and corporate leadership.

North Augusta, Sc

Responsible for all aspects of City operations; served specifically as the Utility Director and lead Economic Developer.The City had a population of 23,000 and a service population of 40,000 with an extensive utility system. The City had an annual budget of over $35,000,000 and 250 fulltime employees. In recent years a tremendous amount of residential and commercial growth has occurred within the City, particularly concentrated on Interstate 20 and the Savannah River.

Clinton, Sc

Responsible for the operation of a full service City with a population of 10,000 and an additional service population of 7,000 in the surrounding unincorporated area.The City had 100 employees, a budget of approximately $19,000,000 and a utility system that includes water, wastewater and electricity. The City's wholesale supplier of electricity was Piedmont Municipal Power Agency and its utility systems were approximately 5,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. Served on the board of Directors for PMPA and was chair of the legislative committee; also served on the Board of the South Carolina Association of Municipal Power Systems and was president for my final two years in Clinton.

Goose Creek, Sc

Initial responsibilities were directing the city's economic development effort following the closing of the Charleston Naval Base. Other duties included planning and implementation of numerous special and capital projects, budget development, down town master planning and acting as City Administrator at various times. Largest single project was the creation of a Tax Increment Finance District involving over 1,000 acres of commercial and industrial property. The Crowfield Corporate Park was the center of the project and the focus of my industrial development effort. Managed various departments including finance, public works, planning, municipal court and the City Clerk's office.

Rock Hill, Sc

Duties included working for the City Manager, Assistant City Manager and Director of Public Works on various projects. These included neighborhood revitalization, storm water management, sanitation system operations, public works budget development and responding to citizens' concerns and complaints at the direction on behalf of the Mayor and City Council.
