Change has always been a massive part of my life. Consistently moving countries, learning about new cultures, and making new friends. Growing up in this environment has given me the perspective that change is inevitable and that to make the most of it, you really need to embrace it. It’s why, in the professional sense, I have been drawn to Change and Project Management; Meeting and building rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders, whilst requiring the flexibility to adapt to ever-changing project requirements. I’ve been lucky that at NatWest I’ve been given the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in Change and Project management. My role as a Change and Business Solutions graduate means that every 6 months I come into a completely new working environment, with the responsibility to acclimatise quickly, immerse myself in the business area and deliver quality results first time. 2 years in I’m a Project Delivery Manager leading the delivery of three programmes worth circa £5M, responsible for the successful delivery of the projects within changing programme requirements and ensuring high quality supplier performance. So here’s looking to the future; embracing change as it comes, enjoying new experiences and hoping that once again Manchester United can be the juggernauts of Europe!
