Mr. Berube has worked in the PwC Public Sector Advisory since the Fall of 2009 in the area of IT Security, Privacy and Risk focusing on IT controls. As part of this, Mr. Berube has significant experience supporting the office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Inspector General (IG) and Comptroller performing IT risk assessments, IT risk remediation strategy, IT audit readiness, IT audit liaison, IT audit remediation, and other IT security controls and risk consulting. Mr. Berube has experience in high-level IT risk and cyber-security strategy to include the assessment and enhancement of the overall strategy and vision planning, policy and procedures, IT security and continuous monitoring processes, and training programs for individuals with significant IT security responsibilities. Mr. Berube also has experience in IT audit to include performing all levels of FISCAM based audits supporting the IT portion of Financial Statement Audits, detailed FISMA assessments utilizing NIST criteria, and SSAE16s for agency service providers. Mr. Berube has worked in IT security and risk consulting with various agencies across the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and other Federal agencies.
