President Lincoln'S Cottage

Responsibilities included recording the roof structure of an 1893 water tower, as well as documenting existing conditions in the vestibule of President Lincoln's Cottage. Using the existing conditions documentation and other investigation, AutoCAD drawings and SketchUp models were created to show how the space might have looked during President Lincoln's time.

My responsibilities include helping research Rosenwald Schools in the state of Virginia for the Rosenwald School Initiative, as well as helping plan the annual Virginia Preservation Conference.

My responsibility was running the Scoutcraft area of Camp Shenandoah, which included keeping the area clean and presentable, developing a schedule, and managing my staff, as well as other evening related activities. I oversaw four members of my staff and facilitated the development of curricula for classes in basic-to-advanced first aid, cooking, camping, pioneering, and survival skills. I taught classes in first aid, camping, and survival skills.
