* Performs instruction and support of training as part of a team required to travel to unit locations and train US Army and contractor personnel in applied CH-47F Modification Work Orders (MWO) and government flight missions. * Performs duties as an academic instructor and instructor/operator on Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator (TFPS). * Performs instruction and support training for all flight activities involving the fielding of modification to the CH-47 F helicopter. * Responsible for the ferrying of new helicopters from assigned locations to the assigned destination. * Plans and conducts advanced flight instruction for CH-47 model qualified aviators and instructor pilot/method of instruction students. * Assures the design of test instruments and training materials are technically accurate and functionally within known equipment and facility constraints. * Develops technically and doctrinally sound instructional materials for training programs as well as conducts field and resident training materials/test validation.

* Performs instruction and support of training for all crewmember activities involving the field of the new CH-47F associated with the New Equipment Training Team (NETT). * Evaluates performance and competency of rated aviators and flight instructors by conducting Standardization Instructor Pilot (SP) and Instrument Flight Examiner (IE) evaluations. * Performs duties as an academic instructor and instructor/operator on the Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator (TFPS). * Serves as a training specialist in conducting job and task analysis. * Develops technically and doctrinally sound instructional materials for training programs as well as conducts field and resident training materials/test validation. * Maintains company Aviation Safety Program, flight publications, and assists with TACOPS functions.

* Instructs aviators in knowledge of Physiological Factors of Flight, Aerodynamics, Meteorology, ATM of assigned aircraft, Tactical Procedures, and Gunnery, using techniques of Instruction. * Trains and evaluates Unit Trainers, Pilots-In-Command, and aviators during Day, Night and NVG conditions, through administration of the Annual Proficiency and Readiness Test and No-Notice Program. * Manages Commander's Aircrew Training Program, and maintains flight records for 60 rated aviators. * Maintains Commander's Aviation Safety Program.

* Operated CH-47D/F aircraft, CH-47D 2B-31 and CH-47F 2B-47F (TFPS) flight simulators, while conducting flights during day, night, and NVG, including VFR and IFR. * Flight School XXI Instructor Pilot conducting undergraduate and graduate level training and qualification in the CH-47D and CH-47F. * Planned and conducted advanced flight instruction to non-rated (Initial Entry Rotary Wing) and rated aviators (advanced initial aircraft qualification students, and instructor pilot/method of instruction students). * Briefed and debriefed students concerning requirements and performance, and made final decision as to the students successful accomplishment of the course objectives. * Evaluated students performance during check rides, ensuring proficiency and standardization in the required maneuvers as per the ATM. * Administered Operators Manual (-10), emergency procedures and limits exam, and other exams as needed. * Outlined lesson plans and conducted classes and conferences on any subject matter included in the respective training curriculum. * Developed, reviewed, and revised, as necessary, training material pertaining to course of instruction. * Applied knowledge of FAA, Army, and DOD flight and instructional regulation, doctrine, procedures, and methods. * Performed administrative tasks such as maintaining files and records, posting of aircraft scheduling boards, updating required publications, and completing and maintaining grade slips and folders on students in accordance with prescribed procedures.
