Freelance Technician ~ Aspiring Acoustics consultant with a degree in progress at the University of Salford ~ Interests in Building Acoustics, Live Music and Recording, Studio design and equipment.I am a freelance technician with experience in live sound, stage setups/rigging, leading technical teams as a duty technician, radio production, electronics and PAT testing. My passion for all things technical, particularly in sound engineering has led me to gain experience with various company's and venues, the two most frequent being Bolton FM and The Albert Halls Bolton. My studies in Acoustical and Audio Engineering at The University of Salford are proving me with the necessary skills to pursue a career in acoustics consultancy. My work as a technician has linked very well with my studies, and has given me motivation to become a consultant, as I look to find work in room acoustics. This is due to my passion in live sound and audience audibility, and would love to work on projects relating to acoustics in spaces such as concert halls, theatres, music venues and studios.Outside my work and studies, I am a passionate musician who plays in and manages a professional function band 'Adelphi Fusion'. I have love for all things music; live performance, albums, production, and even Hi Fi gear. I'm also into my sports, food and sci-fi films!
