North Sea

2016-Present: Core crew position within Morecambe Bay gas field UK, as part of CAN's inspection & maintenance contract on Centrica/Spirit assets. Work includes carrying out Risk Based Inspection surveys, anomaly reviews, underdeck surveys, recuring integrity work & planned work scopes, assisting black trades and various NDT/Inspection projects throughout the year. PA trained and certified gas tester.2018: Lead Tech during Morecambe Bay DP8 NUI 2018 simplification campaign. Overseeing various inspection work scopes including; RBI surveys, Pre-blast inspections, underdeck surveys, dropped object surveys and various planned & unplanned integrity work scopes. Assisting on site OIE with planning, reporting and ongoing trackers/databases. PA on site and raising permits when required. 2015-2016: Ad hoc inspection work throughout the North Sea UK carrying out various workscopes: FM campaigns/underdeck surveys/assisiting core crew with pipework inspections/crane inspections etc.2013-2015: Two years as part of an inspection team on the Rough Field. Work was primarily Air-Gap inspections; thickness/corrosion/base-line Surveys of caissons, pipework, fire pumps, structural members etc using rope access techniques. Other work included dropped object surveys and general maintenance work and assistance.

Various Offshore & Onshore

Multi-disciplined PCN Inspector with IRATA Level 3 Rope Access & Offshore certification. Previously qualified and experienced in aerospace NDT (EN4179). Currently available for offshore and onshore work.Contracts carried out for CAN (Offshore) (Rope Access NDT Offshore), Morgan Ward NDT (Various NDT methods carried out on Aerospace and Industrial parts and components for a large number of clients) & Applus RTD Ltd, Geckotech Solutions Ltd. & JG Leisure Inspections Ltd.

Forth Replacement Bridge, Edinburgh

Visual & MPI Inspections carried out on various welds to structural members on the North, Central & South towers during construction of the Forth Replacement Bridge, Edinburgh for FCBC. All work was carried out at height using rope access techniques. Producing detailed reports and liaising with various trades to deliver inspections and repairs on schedule

Grangemouth

UT thickness/corrosion surveys and MPI inspections carried out on various vessels and exchangers as part of the hydrocracker turnaround at Ineos Grangemouth Refinery.

Uk & Overseas

EN4179 PEN, RAD, MPI, EDDPCN L2 UT 3.1/3.2, MPI, PEN, VISInspection of various components inc. Welds, Castings, Forgings, Composites etc. using various NDT methods to determine their worthiness. Work includes site visits in the UK and oversees- liasing with quality control, senior inspectors and management, often advising on the correct method for inspection, timeframes and possible solutions to potential problems & produce full reports/certificates of conformity for each job - in house, customers own, FAA JAA Form 1s, ASNT, ASME 'U' Stamp, NADCAP, UKAS, BAe as well as develop techniques and procedures for testing.Work carried out has covered the Leisure, Petro-Chemical, Industrial and Aerospace sectors with over 1000hrs alone carrying out Xray Inspections as part of an SSID Inspection for British Airways Boeing 747 as head Radiographer & RPS. And work with Flexible/Permanent & AC Yokes, Prods & DPI.Vast Experience in working with X-Radiation both on site & compound work to a NADCAP standard & carrying out all the relevant quality control checks/darkroom work needed. Work currently carried out on welds to plates, pipes & other components for both the industrial & Aerospace Industries. And on composites panels & control surfaces for the aerospace industry for companies such as KAMAN.
