A student of Law and Public Policy at Indiana University, I am seeking out a career that allows me to contribute to an active social good. I am highly motivated by trying to understand how the world around me works, and I hope to be able to utilize gathering and categorizing information in order to improve people's lives in some way.I have a history of positions where I must lead a large collection of people and manage a diverse range of needs in order to achieve a wider mission. These include examples ranging from volunteering in highschool to lead a class of sixth graders to a multitude of educational stations throughout Leonard Springs Nature Park, to my current position of managing a team of drivers as I ensure that thousands of Indiana Daily Student papers are properly delivered across hundreds of stops each week. Experiences like these have made me quite adept at managing a wide range of disparate needs in order to achieve cohesive end goals. I hope to use my skills of systemic thinking, as well as detailed oriented planning and compassionate reasoning to work with integrating environmental protection into urban areas via the use of things like greenspace or waste management policies, though I would find any career that allowed me to help people, the environment, or to protect cultural heritage fulfilling. Some of my interests include media analysis, history, environmental issues and science, evolutionary history, anthropology, hiking, and politics.Thank you very much taking the time to read my about section!
