Advances in vision-based technologies for remote physiological measurement using ubiquitous consumer-grade cameras offers the promise of a low-cost and highly scalable solution and could play a transformational role in improving the accessibility of healthcare services.My research focuses on the design of geometric temporal deep-learning based computer vision methods to analyse video. We explore this in the context of affective computing tasks, with a focus on remote physiological measurement of vital signs such as heart rate, respiration rate and blood pressure.I'm a part of the AI for Missions PhD program, a collaborative partnership between universities, industry and CSIRO to develop a pipeline of world-leading talent to advance the science, technology, and impact of AI and tackle Australia's greatest challenges.
