Investigating the cellular stress response of marine invertebrates in the rocky intertidal zone, the molecular mechanisms of crustacean molting, and the metabolic costs of thermal regulation in Weddell seals. - Mass spectrometry (Q Exactive Plus), HPLC, and software associated with proteomic analysis (Proteome Discoverer) to analyze complex samples for low abundant proteins.- Experimental design, data collection (predominantly in the rocky intertidal zone) and preliminary data analysis.– Western Blotting, protein digestions, buffer preparations, analysis with LC-MS.
