My name is Sam Crevar, and I am a 4th year sports administration student at the University of Cincinnati. I like to work hands-on and get firsthand experience at my workplace. I have had experience in multiple departments including sports teams, restaurants, and data. While working at these companies the experiences I had evolved my work skills and my personality. I have shown great communication skills through my job at Dibella's where customers are always seeking help or complaining about an order. Diffusing situations and providing guidance were always a priority for me. I was trusted with closing tasks and always proved my importance to the company.Over the summer I completed a data mining project for the Cleveland Browns. This was very new to me, and it was a huge learning curve. I had to work at my own pace creating data models in Excel to show trends or problems in the data. I was required to add more data to an injury dataset with multiple intricate entries. I am currently working for the UC football team with ticket operations, and I understand how frequently the sports world is changing and how quickly people have to adapt to it. I have been able to learn how to handle a gameday where thousands of fans are entering the game at once. Customers always have questions, and it is my job to provide them with the best help I can.
