I started working at North Lincolnshire Council in 2008 as a Highways Engineer, moved into Drainage Engineering, Project Management, Flood Risk Manager, and now act as Highways Development and Strategic Flood Risk Manager. This includes managing all planning applications as both Highways Authority and Lead Local Flood Authority, implementation of SuDS, project managing major flood alleviation schemes, attracting various routes of partnership funding and developing strategies with partners to forecast and mitigate against all types of flooding into the future.
