When i came to Derby University, i also transferred to the Derby Matalan, a change of environment and meeting new people was a challenge that i overcame and i am still working there currently, taking skills from my old store and transferring them to this one. 2:1 BA (HONS) Sport & Exercise Studies

5 week work experience working in the PE department at Ashfield school in which i had to demonstrate; Communication, Teamwork, Planning and Organisation, Time management, Leadership and Problem solving. Working with a mixture of individuals in years 7-11 (ages 11-16) (9am-3pm mon-fri)

I had to work with disabled individuals which included wheelchair users cerebral palsy and down syndrome individuals and plan sessions that where suitable for the individuals then deliver. This gave me the skill of being able to adapt sessions and change sessions to help individuals. Also working with different types of people helped me broaden my knowledge.

My first work experience at the age of 14-15 at a Primary school in my local area, I had to work with children of the ages 9-10. Whilst i was there i helped them complete English and Maths work, helped assist in PE lessons and assist also at break/ afternoon time playground sessions, following strict safety procedures at all times.
