At my current position at Gusto, I am an account manager aiding small-midsize businesses enrolling in their health benefits. I facilitate the open enrollment process as the primary contact for business owners while collaborating with partner teams. I am responsible for:-Document collection.-Qualifying groups by reviewing insurance carrier underwriting guidelines.-Basic trouble shooting of tech issues.-Ensuring groups are qualified to apply for first time health insurance.-Working efficiently to meet time sensitive deadlines.-Answer team questions regarding tax advantaged accounts.-Meeting the monthly metrics requirements.-Communicating with insurance carriers and partner teams.My last position at Ensemble Health Partners involved screening self-pay patients for disability, Medicaid, and financial assistance eligibility. I am CRCR certified as of 8/2021. My previous experience includes registering patients in a physician’s office. My responsibilities included handling all medical records requests, referrals, scheduling and inputting insurance into patient’s accounts. I have excellent leadership skills which has led to new opportunities in training new team members.
