In my current role of workshop controller, I am responsible for a large team consisting of 22 technicians, measuring and managing their individual KPI’s to achieve the departments targets. Daily workshop operation with a 65+ throughput of retail jobs, between myself and another workshop controller. Running daily reports on sold hours, measuring productivity, efficiency and utilisation. Also final month end reporting on technician performance, CitNow completion and quality check results, also sharing results with the team on both a group and individual basis. Performing quarterly reviews on the team, discussing their areas of strength and also potential for growth and implementing action plans. Always keen to take on and embrace additional responsibility and improving myself as an individual in order to increase my value and support to the team around me.

I have worked at Lancaster BMW Milton Keynes since August 2012, I started this position having just finished my apprenticeship in my previous position, starting off a sales prep technician. Over the years I have been fortunate enough to have worked my way to an ATA BMW senior/diagnostic technician, due to completing numerous training courses, complex diagnosis tasks in the workplace and gaining useful experience along the way, ultimately completing my ATA Senior Technician Assessment at the BMW accademy. I have also qualified to IMI hybrid vehicle level 4, aswell as recently completing BMW apprentice mentor training. In this role I completed my apprenticeship, working on a wide range of vehicle types and brands from single seater road sweepers to 28 tonne HGV vehicles. During this time here I managed to complete a 3 year apprenticeship in 21 months, which qualified me in HGV level 3 NVQ aswell as air-conditioning gas handling.
