Proving casual relief teaching to various primary schools, both short and long term in a range a year levels and specialities.

Accountabilities:• Creating a safe learning environment for students of all needs. Armstrong Creek School is a mixed mainstream and additional needs school• Providing individualised learning support within mainstream environments for students with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, Intellectual disabilities, developmental delay, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, Behavioural disorders and Psychiatric disorders• Designing and running a daily program • Being ‘person in charge’ of entire OSHC service• Effectively communicating with staff members regarding student progress and achievement• Strong communication with families and communities regarding student development and needs• Modifying work/programming to meet individual students’ needs• Planning for and implementing effective supervision and safe practice for all students• Managing staff, professional development opportunities and rostering• Managing budgets for all food/OSHC supplies/wages • Creating Individual Support plans and developing Behaviour plans • Training staff in admin and computer systems• Writing and following funding applications• Designing and running School Holiday Programs for both mainstream and additional needs students • Creating and updating a service Quality Improvement Plan• Delegation of tasks and management of day to day responsibilities • Engaging students in fun and supportive activities • Implementing behaviour initiatives such as Zone’s of Regulation
