I’m energetic, passionate, resourceful, and keen to make a difference.I have successfully managed several teams and have developed and advised on a range of intervention strategies to improve outcomes. One of my strengths is people management. I can initiate and develop positive working relationships, using a person-centred approach. I’m a champion of collaboration and providing opportunities for all to develop their knowledge and skills.I'm passionate about helping people to become the best versions of themselves. During my teaching career, I led and developed statutory based training to support student teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers in partnership with other schools. Supporting colleagues in a demanding profession to develop and improve their practice to promote attainment and progress of all students was always extremely rewarding. I would welcome further opportunities to use my training and development skills. My background in education has informed my work on projects and programmes which have sought to address challenges faced by disadvantaged children and young people. I'm especially keen to promote the voice of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. I am increasingly aware of my privilege as a white, able-bodied female and I want to do my part in promoting greater inclusion and diversity.
