We started the Gay Couples Institute in 2007 with the vision of bringing a succinct, logical approach of couples therapy to the gay and lesbian community. The Gottman Method proved to be a sound choice, and we've been lucky to serve approximately 200 couples per year in our clinics. We now have clinics in San Francisco, San Diego, West Hollywood, and Manhattan, NY. Our 9-session program is a straightforward, proven approach that brings the enjoyment and excitement back into gay relationships. These scientifically-grounded skills and insights improve communication, intimacy, satisfaction, and joy. All of our potential couples take a succinct assessment that helps to quickly formulate goals. We provide potential couples with written feedback of their assessment so that they may decide on the direction of their therapy. We take care of the online scheduling and insurance PPO billing. Our couples tend to really enjoy the skills they're learning, as well as the level of service they receive. We're always looking for clinicians who want to become referral partners, or even join our network of professionals. Linkedin has proven to be a wonderful method to connect to other professionals.
