As a client relationship manager at Jungle IT I am responsible for building and managing quality, long-lasting connections between Jungle IT and our clients. I enjoy delivering our future-ready IT solutions to businesses which stems from learning current technologies and leaning on the specialist skills of my colleagues to tenaciously innovate current and new clients. I have built up an extensive background of Account Management skills and have been enjoying the role with Jungle IT for 3 years, but I have been in account management for the past 12 years. I have and I am continuing to build skills heavily based about relationship building, qualification process and to positively listen to and question clients along with communication skills, creativity and innovation skills. Pain points my clients are experiencing, I find are; • Lack of a digital roadmap which in turn means no strategic planning on IT infrastructure which can then leave the company open to security risks. • Device management from starters, leavers, movers is a challenge for my clients which is mainly from not having the resource internally to manage assets and making sure the devices are compliant in line with company policies. • The final challenge I see is Cyber Security, Governance and Compliance. IT Managers often don't know where to start in implementing policies that are designed to keep the company and the individual safe from Cyber Security threats and attacks. Part of my client relationship role is to develop IT roadmaps that align to your business size, goals, and objectives. Every company should have a structure in place that enables them to navigate technological change. An IT roadmap can help deliver results, modernize and optimize platforms, deliver a great user experience, manage assets and technology adoption. Our end user compute team can effectively manage client devices that are deployed across your company not only does this free up resource internally but we also patch devices on a regular basis which means you can have peace of mind that devices are compliant and have the latest updates deployed to them. Finally, to help make sure my clients are aware of the importance of Governance and Compliance in the workplace I work closely with our internal Cyber Security, Governance and Compliance Manager to deliver workshop style sessions aimed to increase awareness of Cyber Security and the devastating effects an attack can have.
