Hello! My name is Sam Gioia (Joy-a). I am an Honors student at Xavier University, majoring in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Med. My leadership began in Scouts, where I reached the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. As in scouts, I bring determination, leadership skills, and enthusiasm to all my endeavors!Showcasing my leadership skills in high school, I was president of the Student Council and the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy and captain of the Football Team. Now at Xavier University, I am part of the Canyon Angels Club where I am responsible for doing the due diligence on Start-Up companies, and reporting that information to a group of 65+ Angel Investors. I am also part of the Idea Club, a group for entrepreneur students to meet and grow their businesses. During my free time, I run a multiple of companies and employ my friends to work under me. An example of previous business ventures includes Sam's Services (Landscaping), Squeegee Clean Windows, Lope Care Packages, and many others throughout the years.Outside of my academic pursuits, I dedicate time to my local church, teaching Sunday School to k-3 students.With a track record of success and passion for making a positive impact, I am eager to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to whatever opportunity awaits me.
