Critical Care services include post-operative management (Craniofacial and Spinal fusion) and acute medical deterioration, alongside stabilisation of Obstetric patients. Primarily servicing short term admissions under the Medical, Respiratory and Neurology Medical teams the patient group primarily compromises admission for acute exacerbations of asthma, bronchiolitis, seizures, VEEG monitoring, 24hr infusions and Medical/Surgical overflow.
