Formerly working as a Statistical Analyst for Stats NZ in the Admin Data and Analytics team, under the Labour Markets and Household group. Work st Stats NZ includes multiple projects using New Zealand's Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI), in conjunction with multiple household surveys such as the Household Labour Force Survey (HLFS), The Household Economic Survey (HES) and Census 2013. In 2018 I had one of my papers published in the ANZIAM MathSport 2018 journal, on the impacts on injury for a player in domestic T20 Cricket. Practical experience includes using statistical analysis software SQL and R programming language. Also experience in software SAS, Arcmap, WEKA, Matlab and an introduction to Bluejay. Masters work includes a research at DOT Loves Data on absence in t20 Cricket, analysis for Hutt District Health Board on end of life care, creation of an interactive application that presents NBA statistics using R Shiny. Additionally, work on Bayesian Inference, Computational and Official Statistics has been completed.Undergraduate projects included survey design, collection and analysis of data including multivariate analysis, and a project assignment on general linear models using SAS and R software. Experience in managing as well as an aptitude at manipulating and analysing Big Datasets have also been developed through the course of the degree. Additionally, a proficiency in Politics and International Relations research reports was completed as a Undergraduate Major.
